Fundraising Team

Associate Director, Foundations & Corporations:  Reporting to the Director of Development, this position is responsible for fundraising activities and strategies involved with all independent foundations and our highest level corporate donors. Responsibilities include research, cultivation and stewardship, camp tours, and writing grant applications and reports as well as using a donor database to enter donor interaction information. We are seeking an organized individual with strong writing, budget, and relationship building skills. This position will supervise our Corporate Relations Coordinator. Corporate Relations Coordinator:  Reporting to the Associate Director, Foundation and Corporations, the Corporate Relations Coordinator is responsible for fundraising activities and strategies involved with corporate donors, such as donor research, cultivation and stewardship, employee engagement, and writing grant applications and reports as well as using donor database to enter donor interaction information. In addition, helps oversee volunteer days at camp. He/she will focus on key priority areas and strategies of planning and implementing corporate giving and engagement campaigns. Development Assistant:  We are searching for a highly motivated and experienced individual for our Development Assistant. In this challenging role, this position will use strong attention to detail for gift processing, administering and managing the software and systems used by the Development and Communications Department, specifically the Raiser’s Edge database, various online giving software tools, and wealth screening software. This position works closely with all departments in terms of data collection and data generation, overseeing and producing all fundraising reports and all mail and email lists as well as elements of our stewardship plan. Data analysis and reporting, the ability to meet deadlines, communication skills, flexibility, multi-tasking and project management, as well as attention to detail, are essential criteria for success. Medical Team

Nursing Director:  The Nurse Director will work closely with the Health Center Director and the Medical Director to oversee the nursing program at a medical specialty camp for children with serious medical conditions.  Duties will include assisting in recruitment and training of volunteer and full-time summer nursing staff, supervision of patient care during summer and weekend programs, assist in advisement on medical safety of all camp programs, development and review of camp policies and protocols related to medical care of children at camp and ensuring medical program meets all state and other regulatory standards.   California Nursing License, PALS, ACLS will be required upon hiring.  Contact Michelle Melendez at michellem@thepaintedturtle.org for more information.
