Jerry Moss, co-founder of A&M Records and one of The Painted Turtle’s founders, passed on August 16, 2023. Jerry was instrumental in making The Painted Turtle a reality. Along with his friend and business partner Herb Alpert, the two shared an interest in bringing joy to people’s lives not only through music but by helping those in need, which led to their involvement with The Painted Turtle. We are truly grateful for Jerry’s generosity over the years for it made a difference in the lives of so many children and their families. The sweet song of joy and compassion will forever be heard as Jerry’s legacy and impact lives on at The Painted Turtle.
